The new version 3.02 of the office and project management software (BMSP) BusinessNavigator E&P<\/abbr> from Sta*Ware in Starnberg can now automatically create staff schedules, visualize the resulting workload graphically, and plan projects using GANTT charts.<\/em><\/p>\n
The division into rough and detailed planning covers different aspects of project management<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
Engineering firms and planners are often faced with the question of whether they can take on additional projects without jeopardizing deadlines and delivery dates of ongoing projects. At the same time, a balanced workload of existing staff and resources over the coming weeks and months is desired. Current utilization should also be available at a click for each employee, department, or office without extra effort.<\/p>\n
Sta*Ware addresses this challenge with a methodology where rough planning is based on data from current quotes and orders, and detailed planning is derived from currently assigned tasks, clearly displayed in weekly and monthly plans.<\/p>\n
For the order items, the planned service period and scope are known. The resource or pool time requirements are determined via the respective cost rate from the fee of each service phase.<\/p>\n
Rough plans are converted into detailed plans with a click using a project structure assistant with configured workflows and process controls.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
When using the integrated Sta*Ware fee assistant, the task descriptions can reference tasks according to Siemon tables or AHO. Alternatively, a custom configuration can always be used to define the required tasks within the detailed plan.<\/p>\n
Impacts of shifts within projects or entire service phases are immediately visible in the updated plan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
Planners and engineers can move entire projects, individual service phases, or tasks within projects, including dependent tasks, with one click. The workload of the affected employees is automatically adjusted, and the effects are visible in the GANTT chart of each project. Dependencies to other tasks can also be set across projects. Subprojects are possible.<\/p>\n
Automated and integrated staff scheduling reduces costs<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
Task processing by employees and time tracking for each task give the project manager an up-to-date overview of progress at any time.<\/p>\n
When creating the plan and determining workload, no further action is required. The figures are available online at any time, and integrated feedback via task status is part of the Sta*Ware BusinessNavigator methodology.<\/p>\n
With the Task Center and Business Process Engine, Sta*Ware provides the perfect addition to efficiently and transparently manage projects<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
The Task Center is available for displaying individual or project-related To-Do lists. Employees can easily handle tasks, record time, schedule appointments, and communicate internally via chat. Through the reference to the task, access to the documents and emails of the respective work step is always available.<\/p>\n
